Read this and then come back….. This article is of the phenomena of supporters of Donald Trump, especially those who are Christians.
Trumpsters are an enigma. A great deal of them are what I label as wrestle mania people. People who watch WWF and think that it is real. The Joe Dirts of the world. These people usually do not have an over abundance of money. They don’t usually have an education, beyond the basic, high school a little bit of college or tech school, not PHD types. They are smart and can figure most everything out, without that piece of paper. Yet, they equate themselves with Donald Trump. This is is the paradox . Trumpsters are family people. Loyal to their country. They teach their kids manners, to say “yes sir” and “please” and “thank you”. These people will pull over and help change flat tire for you. Take you to the gas station. They will give you money in the checkout line if you are short a few dollars. And they support Trump, who is brass, classless, unrefined. He himself is not highly intelligent. He does not give anything away unless he can get double back. Family values mean nothing to him. Trumpsters see all of his loudness and idiocy as bravery. All of his money making, and ‘investing’ as having business know how. Trumpsters just hear the words he yells and think he is saying something, because he says he is. Trumpsters don’t really understand big government, socialism, or the constitution being for the people’s protection from the government. Trump doesn’t either. Trumpsters think he is speaking their language . They don’t realize he is just a car salesman who has learned how to talk like them. To make the sale. They don’t know he wouldn’t spend 10 minutes in the same room with them because he deems himself much better than everyone else on this planet. That he is truly not a good person.
This brings me to the Christians who support Trump. They have been deceived. Satan is the great deceiver. And I am pretty sure Trump is related somehow. Believers of course are whom Satan is out to trip up, so I get the attack But….Christians are suppose to have ‘ears to hear’, the Truth. To support Trump is a compromise, to a believers faith. I just can’t see how a believer, especially one who is suppose to be strong in their faith ( like a preacher) can think Trump is a good choice.
Trump with his stance on abortion, Israel, women, divorce, family values, his wealth coming from worldly makings, i.e. Vegas hotel, his debt and bankruptcies, His hateful words toward others. His lack of character. His ignorance of God and His word is not a man even a little bit of God. He does not have a long whispy hair for God. Trump is proud and arrogant. Trump relies only on himself and what he can make man do for his money. Yes, King David had an affair and caused the death of a man, but he repented. Every sin he committed he admitted and received the punishment for his sins with his whole heart. David usually sought Gods will for each moment of his life, when he didn’t he cried out to God to save him from himself. Trump admits no wrong ever. Trump won’t be responsible for his own failure, he blames every loss on those liars and cheaters.
Maybe, this is a weeding. Those that are thought to be believers are just being exposed as just being trash to be burned.
“Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”‘””
Matthew 13:24-
Tares: the bearded darnel, mentioned only in Matthew 13:25-30 . It is the Lolium temulentum, a species of rye-grass, the seeds of which are a strong soporific poison. It bears the closest resemblance to wheat till the ear appears, and only then the difference is discovered. It grows plentifully in Syria and Palestine.
